I am an Assistant Professor of Management in the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship at Kent State University.
My research program revolves around two main questions: why do employees perceive similar leader behaviors and workplace contexts differently, and what are the consequences of these dissimilar interpretations? To explore these questions, my research focuses on three main areas: (1) the contradictory influences of leader behaviors on followers, (2) employees’ well-being and performance, and (3) cognitive flexibility and creativity.
Before beginning my academic career, I worked for three years in the HR management team at LG Chem, where I worked on projects aimed at enhancing employee retention and improving working conditions.
