I believe my role as an educator is to have a beneficial influence on their life by providing the pleasure of learning and intellectual stimulation, equipping them for their careers with foundational knowledge and its real-world application, and eventually broadening their perspectives on the business and organizations. To achieve this goal, My teaching philosophy is based on facilitating participation by offering intellectually stimulating activities and ensuring psychological safety.
What my students have liked best about my teaching:
“It is abundantly clear that Professor Lee cares deeply for his students and wants them to learn. Professor Lee gives his 110% effort/enthusiasm every class and tries really hard to relate to his students. I admired him for his openness to suggestions/criticisms of his course.”
“I really liked our class discussions and how Professor would create an environment of openness and being comfortable sharing his own experiences with the class.”
“I enjoyed how Professor Lee created a safe environment from the get-go for his students to confidently express their thoughts and views without any judgment.”
“I liked how much Professor Lee cared about his students making us all feel welcomed and at home. His classroom was a very safe and open environment where we could hold great discussions. I truly felt as though I learned a lot in this course and with having Professor Lee as the instructor made the class flow very well.”
“He is one of the best professors I’ve had in Kelley. He is very kind and makes the class feel like it’s you and him together instead of him against you.”
“Mr. Lee is one of the most genuine professors I’ve ever had. He is extremely fair, nice, and respectful to all students.”
“The professor was always available for questions and created a very pleasant class environment. Everyone felt comfortable to participate and the professor always encouraged students to participate and learn.”
“Professor Lee did a great job being very open and understanding with students in the class. He is a very sweet, kind man and truly cares for his students. He is very uplifting and patient with others and seeks to have engaging and meaningful conversations with his students.”
